Joins Godengo’s ad network of regional magazines
Emeryville, CA (July 23, 2007) – Chicago magazine has partnered with Godengo, Inc. to upgrade the web platform of its online edition – www.chicagomag.com -- enabling it to drive higher traffic numbers, engage more readers, and execute content and ad sales with more profitability and efficiency, it was announced today by Godengo CEO Tim Sullivan. Chicago is owned by Tribune Company.
Chicagomag.com is now powered by Godengo’s Rivista™ software, designed from the ground up for multiplying traffic volume, search engine optimization and increasing profits at city and regional magazine web sites. Visitors to the site will find it full of useful content that is continually changing.
In addition to the articles and columns found in its print publication, Chicagomag.com now offers searchable databases for dining, shopping and events, six new blogs, a business marketplace, photo galleries, video content, podcasts and category targeted advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
The web site has also joined the Rivista™ Ad Network, consisting of 19 publishers around the country, representing 73 regional magazine web sites. The Ad Network harnesses an affluent, upscale consumer audience representing the premier city and regional lifestyle publications, providing extensive reach and expertise in local markets.
