Tim Sullivan co-founded Godengo to create an online publishing and advertising platform specifically designed for magazine publishers. As former CEO of Godengo, he oversaw all strategic and operational management of the company. Godengo provides digital media solutions for hundreds of city, regional and lifestyle magazine publishers.
Prior to starting Godengo, Sullivan worked at Verio, an NTT Communications Company and one of the world's largest web hosting and network service providers. During his eight years with the company he held leadership positions in Web Development, E-commerce Product Management and Corporate Marketing. In his most recent role as Director of Web Marketing he was responsible for global web strategy, e-commerce, and online marketing. In this role he transformed a disparate collection of web properties into a centralized, low-cost distribution channel generating $MM in revenue.
Prior to that, Sullivan was Vice President of Web Development at Communiqué, Inc., a leading Internet Service Provider in the Southeast US. At Communiqué he launched a professional services division that assisted clients in planning and implementing web strategies and oversaw the development and marketing of client websites, intranets, extranets and e-commerce applications. Communiqué was acquired by Verio Inc. in 1997.
Sullivan started working with Internet technology in 1994 at Allware Computer Services, Inc. where he developed the first online destination portal for the city of New Orleans, providing an automated online reservation system for the city's world famous tourism industry.
Sullivan has been invited to judge the Ozzie and Eddie Awards as well as the Web Marketing Association's prestigious WebAwards for Web Site Development and Online Advertising. He has also made frequent television and conference appearances as an online publishing subject matter expert.
Mr. Sullivan studied design at Louisiana State University and holds the following certifications: Certified E-Commerce Consultant (CEC), Project Manager in E-Business (PME).
