A) File Upload/Submission : It is now possible to create forms that allow for files to be attached to that form.
How this works:
1) Go to any existing form or create a new form.
2) Change "Allow Attachments" from No --> Yes
3) Check the file formats that you want to allow to be attached:
Jpeg image (.jpg)
Jpeg image (.jpeg)
GIF image (.gif)
PNG image (.png)
Adobe PDF (.pdf)
Zip archive (.zip) - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN ARCHIVE (stuffed/zipped) FILE FORMAT - ANY FILE TYPE CAN BE UPLOADED IF IT IS ARCHIVED AND UPLOADED AS A .zip FILE
Flash Video (.flv)
TIFF (.tiff)
Illustrator (.ai)
EPS (.eps)
Photoshop (.psd)
4) Determine the file size (in megabytes). The larger the file size you allow the bigger the impact it will have on your site. Some negative impacts of larger than 2 megabytes file sizes are site slowdowns and filling up your hard drive quota.5) Determine how many files can be attached to a form (number of files that you allow can also have an impact on your form's performance).
What happens after the form is submitted:
The recipient list of the form will receive the usual email but there also will be a link(s) to the files that were uploaded. By cutting and pasting (or in some cases clicking on the link) you will be able to download the file to your local computer.
B) Customer will now get copied on their form submission if you ask them for their email in the form.
How this works:
Create a form text field with the name "email". The email address that gets submitted with that form will receive a copy of the form submission (minus the file locations that they uploaded).
To avoid an email going out to the form submitter make sure that you rename the email capture field something other than 'email' like 'email_address'.
Feature Changes
1. Submission Downloads are no longer comma separated. They are now tab delimited. When importing into excel please use tab delimited for the import type.
